What do these power levels stand for? Is mine identical to my chars?

First of all, you and your chars power levels are not the same. While your class level (displayed through your group affiliation) is used to rank you and give you a set of allowances you and your character have to follow on this site, your chars rank is only required to gauge his power in comparison to others.

For further explanation look below:

Witch hunters:
Rank WH explanation
S-class whiterobe Only a handful exist, these individuals exceed all other hunters, some even call them close to untouchable. Whiterobes should allways be treated with respect, as they can even hold their ground against the strongest of witches.
A-class blackrobe High tier fighters, they either wield dangerous armory and even without it can wreck up quite a lot. A blackrobe going all out could accidently erase a town while figthing a strong witch.
B-class bluerobe These hunters can handle sronger witches and usualy work in a group. They say a squad of 4 can fight a blackrobe equally.
C-class redrobe To reach this level one has to be a very skilled warrior, they take easier missions and already wield magic weaponry. Being the lowest ranked 'fighters' they still exceed what normal humans could ever achieve.
D-classgreenrobe Usualy veterans and fighters, in WH they normally take scouting or delivery missions. Their fighting prowess is that of a trained soldier, though not up to par with a real witch.
E-class Greyrobe A normal human. Most take care of organisational tasks, such as taking care of paperwork. Some are specifically assigned to higher ranked personell to tend to their needs, such as financials.

"Witch Haven": (info: females not using magic
and males in general are considered magicians, with or without ability to wield magic)
Rank Title explanation
S-class Grand magician/witch Legends. A grand magician is able to destroy an entire country all by their own if they wishes so, most are mad with power, though you can't realy hold that against them. Unless you wish to die...
A-class Star magician/witch
Exceedingly strong, feared and respected among their kin. Not too many witches are strong enough to be awarded the star rank, those few are to be considered a huge enemy to overcome however.
B-class True magician/witch A true witch, able to lay waste to an area and make people quiver in fear. Some tend to team up to wreak havoc and have fun. In the rare case those two are not the same from the start.
C-class magician/witch Capable individuals, more or less at least. They can take care of human warriors just fine, but should allways have a stronger witch with them.
D-class Apprentice Apprentice witches dont have real knowledge about fighting, they still learn the ropes. As such, they get boring and tiresome missions normaly.
E-class / Workforce. Witches dont have any need for administrative work, they just do things as they come. Thus non-magic individuals usualy only work as slaves - rare exceptions made.

"Neutrals":
Rank Title explanation
S-class Master of Arces Individuals that have reached the summit of powers, being free spirited and without boundaries except those set by themselves, these people are known around the world.
A-class Arces Those who work for neither side but easily hold their ground against either. These individuals might lack backup usualy, but make up for it with sheer skill and power.
B-class combateer far above what humans can reach, belonging to this group of neutral forces means you can travel on your own without fear. There are only few who can best you.
C-class Fighter Wether through their own bodies or through acquiring special armory, these people surpass what a normal soldier could do. If it werent for the many dangers of this world, you could call them heroes in their own right.
D-class warrior
Usualy mercenaries or just plain soldiers of a kingdom, while capable of fighting and usualy very skilled, they cannot hope to stand against magic users.
E-class human
The average humans - while it is dangerous to not go under the protection of Witchhunters, some kingdoms or individuals remain neutral. These people lack any kind of knowledge on how to fight.
